Youth - 6:30 - 8:00pm
The youth ministry at Gibbon Baptist Church is all about engaging with students as they discover the story of God, their own stories, and recognizing where these two intersect. Our mission is to accompany youth on the journey of their own personal growth as individuals and followers of Christ. The youth group currently meets at Pastor Taylor's house.
Gibbon Baptist Church traces its history back to First Regular Baptist Church established in Gibbon in 1872. The church was reorganized as Gibbon Baptist Church on July 21, 1888.In 1889, Gibbon Baptist Church built its first building at the corner of 2nd and Court Streets. A major addition and remodel was completed on that facility in 1949.Since 1966, Gibbon Baptist Church has worshiped at our current location at the corner of 7th Street and Court. We are affiliated with the American Baptist Churches USA (ABCUSA).
We believe the good news of Jesus is for all people, and that every Christian is gifted for ministry and leadership in Christ’s church.
